This post will be about sec3 bbq and campcraft competition team for next year.


1. Sec 3 BBQ!

Seniors, sec 3s, instructors, all welcomed to comeeeee!
So please come haha.

ESP sec3s. Stupid H1N1 cut our CL-ship short,
there will be fewer of such gatherings in the future, so try to make it for this bbq alright!


Date: 2nd December 09 (confirmed)
Location: Pasir Ris Park/ Fushan (not confirmed, but East Coast, Pasir Ris and other parks have limited bbq pits already ._.)
Time: Reach the place about 3++, BBQ will start at maybe 4-5pm.

Cost: Below $8 (Confirmed lower, but I don't know how low, Xinyi will contact those who are going about this when we confirm)

Food: Mainly chicken wings, hotdogs, maybe marshmellows?
PLEASE tag/ sms me or xinyi for more suggestions! will really appreciate it :D

&xinyi for your info I got visit this blog, and unless my memory fails me, I don't rmb you posting anything in 2009, all posted by me.
no offence yeah. I just want to clear my name :}


anyway,

In MAY.

1. Pass out Parade cum Promotion Ceremony on 23rd May, Saturday.
-8.30am-12 noon.
-Full Npcc Uniform and PT kit.
CLs are to wear the new CL tee (black) for POP.


2. NPCC DAY on 26th May, tuesday.
- Everyone is to report at 7.15am .
(will update about the location. Either general office/npcc room)


3. Parade on 27th May, Wednesday.

- 2pm-6pm.
- It's changed from 29th May, Friday because of Meets the Parents Session.



In June


Events in june:
PLEASE make sure overseas trip does not clash with the following activities:

4. Police Knowledge Course &Homefront Security Course on 3rd&4th June
- 7.45am-6pm @ HTA

- Attire: Full-Uniform and PT kit.
- Bring writing materials (Paper, 2B pencil, Eraser) & jacket.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Directly dismissed from HTA.
- Course lasts for two full days


5. 1-star Kayaking Course on 6th&7th June
- 8am-6pm @ Sembawang Sea Sports Club
- Only for selected sec2's and 3's


6. LMS course on 10th&11th June (Leadership and Mentoring Skills course)
- 8.30am-5pm @ ACS (l)

- Attire: Full-Uniform and PT kit
- Bring writing materials, LMSC Manual, thermometer.
- Cadets will dismissed directly from ACS (l).
- Course lasts for two full days


7. Sec 3 Survival Camp @ Pulau Ubin on 12nd-14th June
- A 3days-2nights camp.


In the event that you have already booked your air or coach tickets, please inform Mrs Goh immediately.
MAKE SURE you are not involved in ANY other school activities. There will be NO make-up sessions for the above events, and attendance is required for your conduct grade and rank promotion.



Parades in june:

8. Parade on 5th June.
- 8am-1pm

- The day after Police Knowledge Course & HomeFront Security Course.

TAKE NOTE:


-ALL sec3s MUST report for every NPCC training sessions at least 10-5mins earlier.
CLs already, so must report early, yeah :)
NO LATECOMERS unless you want kena scolded by T.O.s/H.O.s/C.I.s .

-ALL sec3s are to do a one-page reflection on annual camp 2009, and hand in by next parade, as instructed by H.O.

-ALL sec3s to take note of who is to go up on the stage in the morning for the pledgetaking stuffs.

ANNUAL UNIT CAMP details.

KIT LIST.

1. 1 torchlight with spare batteries

2. 1 box of matches

3. Spectacle band/hook [ For those wearing spectacles only ,
contact lens are not allowed ]


4. Writing materials [ including NPCC notebook ]

5. 1 1.5 L water bottle

6. Rags

7. Plastic bags [ for dirty clothing (optional) ]

8. Clothing :
 2 PE T-shirt or 1 PE T-shirt and 1 NPCC T-shirt
( excluding the one wearing )
 1 dark blue/black coloured T-Shirt
 2 track pants [ black or dark blue only ]
 Undergarments [ sufficient ]
 Windbreaker [ optional ]


9. Footwear
 Long white socks [ sufficient, no ankle socks ]
 Slippers/sandals [ for bathing only ]


10. Toiletries
 Toothbrush and toothpaste
 Shower foam and shampoo
 Powder
 Towel


11. Utensils
 1 fork and 1 spoon [ stainless steel only ]
 1 can opener
 Mug [ stainless steel or plastic ]


12. Photo stated EZ Link card

13. Medication [ if any ]

14. A ball of twine [ grade 3 or 4 ]

15. Cash of not more than $10 [ optional ]

Things to take note :
 Only black/dark blue hair accessories are allowed [ No hair
bands are allowed ]
 No dyeing of hair
 Male campers have to be cleanly shaved
 Spectacle band/hooks are to be used for cadets wearing
spectacles
 Contact lens are strictly not allowed
 All unnecessary accessories are not to be worn at all times
during camp [ e.g. watches, rings, wristbands, neck chains,
bracelet ]
 Ankle socks and deodorants are strictly not allowed
 Cadets are not supposed to bring the following :
* Food [ rations will be provided ]
* Personal entertainment kit [ e.g. MP3, hand-held games,
PSP ]
* Communication tools [ e.g. handphones ]
 Miscellaneous items not stated in this kit list are prohibited
unless otherwise approved



REPORTING TIME:
Date: 20th-21st March 09.
Reporting time: 7.25a.m. [ As CLs we're supposed to report 5mins early. Remember!]

If you are keen to eat breakfast in the morning in mac,
inform me :)
we will be having breakfast at causeway point's macdonald at 6.30a.m.(latest)
